We understand the importance of security and compliance with governing legislation. In order to protect your confidential information, we take a 3-pronged approach to ensure the integrity of our Staff, Facility and Systems.
Cross Country Computer has been certified as having met the stringent security guidelines of many Fortune 1000 corporations, including some of the largest financial institutions in the world. We support projects that involve handling accounts representing billions of dollars in assets and as such, Cross Country has successfully demonstrated data processing and security standards that exceed what is traditionally required in direct marketing engagements.
The High Integrity of Our Staff
All employees sign employment and confidentiality agreements at hire regarding web access, client data, business privacy issues and other requirements. Policies are in place for Security Incident Response, Encryption, Remote Access, Internet Usage, 3rd Party Vendor, Sensitive Data Disposal, and more. Multi-tiered permission levels are assigned in our web portals and access privileges are restricted by user to specified servers. Cross Country Computer is on the U.S. Department of Commerce Safe Harbor approved vendor list. In fact, designated staff members have undergone extensive background checks and received military clearance to provide confidential services on behalf of our U.S. Government.
A Secure Facility
Our state of the art facility is equipped with an independent sprinkler system as well as fire, smoke, water, temperature and power detectors. We utilize Card Reader access and web-enabled digital cameras monitor all exits and entrances. Data files are cataloged in our Tape Management System and stored in our data center’s secure tape library. A security guard is stationed at the front desk from 8am to 5pm.
Our Secure Systems
Our network systems are fire-walled using enterprise-class network perimeter protection and we offer file encryption and secure FTP when exchanging critically sensitive data. We employ the robust security of application proxies with inspection filtering and our firewall includes a secure service network with a DMZ. UPS systems keep all critical servers up in the event of a power disruption. Our off-site data vaulting partner is Vital Records Inc., located in New Jersey and our disaster recovery partner is Sunguard in Philadelphia. Five Disaster Recovery teams have been established at Cross Country Computer, namely: Initial Evaluation team, Management Team, Recovery Hot Site team, Technical Support team, and Administrative Support/Customer Coordination team. We perform annual DR testing.
