Employers continue to offer an increasingly diverse range of benefits options. Leveraging our core competency of the conversion, analysis, repair, reporting and delivery of data, Cross Country provides solutions to transition data between systems or platforms. In the HR sector, this involves assisting in the migration of Health & Welfare, Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit data from system to system. For clients with recurring data feeds, we can design hosted or packaged applications to manage conversions in an automated fashion, without requiring human intervention. We classify such software as ‘Intelligent Middleware’ due to the integration of data validation and repair algorithms to improve data quality in addition to mapping fields between formats. Integrated quality checks scan for anomalies and built-in escalation procedures automatically notify key stakeholders. Used within our other business lines or as a stand-alone application, our solutions shorten turnaround, improve quality, reduce liability and increase profitability.
Cross Country Employee Center is hosted web portal that allows HR decision makers and employees to add, edit and review benefit information online. The Employee Center can be used year-round to add new hires, support COBRA participants, capture employee elections, track family-status changes and manage the open enrollment process. Our data management background enables us to include sophisticated algorithms to automatically validate, correct and exchange data with 3rd party HRIS or provider systems. This saves time and labor, ensures accuracy, reduces liability, and lowers expenses by ensuring only eligible staff receives benefits.
As with our experience in the financial services sector, these engagements have also involved the handling of extremely confidential data and have resulted in Cross Country successfully demonstrating data processing and security standards that exceed what is traditionally required in direct marketing circles.
